Who Am I?

Andy Lewis – Managing Director of ATL Fulfilment

I’m Andy Lewis, the director of ATL Fulfillment, and I have over 30 years of experience in business development and major project management in the Aerospace and Defence industries.
Working for major civil and military Aerospace companies, I have been the project and business development director at Westland Agusta, Airbus Industrie in Toulouse and BAESystems in HQs in London and Munich.

In these roles, I managed more than £2 billion in contracts and was responsible for export sales, logistic support, and international industrial cooperation on the Eurofighter Typhoon programme. Additionally, I have been in charge of campaigns in China, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Europe, and the Pacific Rim.

In setting up ATL Fulfilment, I bring all my management experience to our client’s supply chain and fulfilment requirements. Although there haven’t been many difficulties with third-party logistics in the nine years we’ve been in the company, we can always give our clients complete solutions for every problem.

Outside of work, I’m a scout leader and currently District Commissioner for Chorley District, managing over 400 adult volunteers and over 1200 young people delivering an exciting and developing scouting programme for more and more youngsters across our area.

I recently worked in the National team that travelled to the United States World Jamboree with more than 5,000 scouts from across the United Kingdom. It is a logistics problem and is perhaps much more stressful than the day job, with considerably more important freight – other people’s children.
