Should You Consider Outsourcing Your Order Fulfilment Now Postage Rates Are Going Up

If you are packing and posting parcels from home your prices are going up from 31st March 2014.

Stamp prices will rise as follows:

 

  • – First Class – from 60p to 62p, there is currently no ‘regulatory cap’ on First Class letter rates
  • – Second Class – from 50p to 53p which is below the ‘current regulatory framework’ which would have allowed Royal Mail to raise the price a further 4p.
  • – Large Letter First Class – will rise from 90p to 93p
  • – Large Letter Second Class – will rise from 69p to 73p

 

Royal Mail’s Managing Director of Consumer & Network Access, Stephen Agar has commented: “We understand that nobody likes to pay more, especially in the current economic climate. Our prices remain amongst the best value for money in Europe, and we have the highest service specification of any major European country.”
